Ian is responsible for actively identifying, originating, and analyzing investment opportunities in the healthcare space. He also oversees the initial financial modeling and due diligence activities for prospective investments, as well as the creation of the firm’s investment committee memoranda.

Ian joined the Transcend team in 2020 after earning a Master of Science in Finance from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. While at ASU, Ian mentored prospective and newly admitted students as a W.P. Carey Ambassador and served as the founder and President of the ASU Investors Club, a group dedicated to studying the philosophies and techniques of the world’s most successful investors.

Before graduate school, Ian worked in sales and operations roles at Insight Enterprises, a Fortune 500 IT hardware, software, and services company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. In these positions, he managed projects and day-to-day relationships with IT leaders from multibillion-dollar companies and government entities.
